In order probably to give priority to accessibility in case of repair needs the body cut has been revised and the rear ridge has disappeared. The fuel tank caps are now screw-type and not hinged. The blades are also longer because a mesh was used to lock and unblock them. The Monaco Grand Prix takes place on 6 April 1934. La Scuderia Ferraris Carlo Trossi Alfa Romeo Tipo B 22 takes pole position. The T59 of French pilots Rene Dreyfus and Jean-Pierre Wimille are entered by the Bugatti factory. The French driver Rene Dreyfuss car No. 8 is blue colored. There is no fuel tank to his left but fuel transfer pipes. Dreyfuss nickname was tactician. The particular construction of the bodywork composed of 2 riveted half-hulls creates a thin ridge. A tonneau cover hides the passenger side. Another specificity of this car is also the 5 angle of the front wheels which was the solution found to improve the turning radius and road holding of the car. This Type 59 Grand Prix chassis #59124 has remained in the very original condition and it is arguably the best surviving example of the model like the black restored model owned by the fashion designer Ralf Lauren. Brand new 1/18 scale models of Bugatti T59 #28 Tazio Nuvolari Monaco GP (1934) with Driver Mounted and Etorre Bugatti and Jean Bugatti Figures resin models by Le Mans Miniatures.Brand new box.True-to-scale detail.Has piano wire wheels.Detailed interior exterior.Officially licensed product.Comes mounted on base to display.Manufacturers original unopened packaging.Dimensions approximately L-8.75 W-3.5 H-2.5 inches.This model is made of resin and does not have any openings.The Type 59 no. 28 is in the Italian colors since it is driven by Tazio Nuvolari who entered the car himself. It should be noted that he left the Scuderia violently at the end of 1933. An additional fuel tank appears to the left of the driver. He wears a brown leather outer jacket on the driver suit. He is 5th position on the starting grid.
