Yuki Tsunoda
Yuki Tsunoda is a Japanese racing driver competing in Formula 1 for the Visa Cash App RB team. He was born on May 11, 2000, in Sagamihara, Japan. Tsunoda started his racing career in karting before progressing to single-seaters in the Japanese F4 Championship. He won the championship in 2018, which earned him support from Honda and a place in the Red Bull Junior Team.
In 2020, he competed in FIA Formula 2 with Carlin and impressed with multiple wins and podiums, finishing third in the championship. His strong performances secured him a promotion to Formula 1 with AlphaTauri in 2021. He became the first Japanese driver to race full-time in F1 since Kamui Kobayashi.
